One complete set of 3 prints — created together on the same paper, signed, numbered as a suite, and supplied with a certificate and spec sheet, then shipped as one. Prefer a single image? Buy any one on its own from the set above — though singles aren't signed, numbered, or certified.

I discovered this entrance to Wynyard station in Sydney by coincidence. After shooting with my daughter around Barangaroo, we were walking back towards the city and came across this awesome tunnel. I was immediately captivated by the shapes and lines and the honest and modern, yet, elegant design.

This suite consists of three images of the Wynyard Walk — as this entrance into the station appears to be called — that capture that aesthetic.

A suite is a set of two or more images to be hung and enjoyed together in an arrangement pre-determined by the artist.

Suites are more than the sum of their parts. They are not simply three or four images bundled together — they are a piece of artwork in their own right.

Each image within the suite is signed and numbered with the suite number it is part of. For example, if you purchase my Victoria Cross suite, each print will show the suite number, say Suite 17, at the bottom signifying that all three images have been purchased together. These suite numbers are unique within that suite — no other Victoria Cross suite will be sold with the same suite number.

Furthermore, each suite comes with a certificate of authenticity and a specification sheet, both carrying the suite number so they belong unmistakably to your set. The certificate is hand-signed by me: it confirms that these images were created by me and sold together as a single suite, and alongside the suite number and your date of purchase it records each image by name and number, the medium and paper, and the printed size — the document that establishes the provenance of your artwork. The specification sheet shows how the suite is to be hung — the order of the images, the spacing between them, and the shared centre line on which they align — so that on your wall they read as the single work they are.

Hung together these images take up a dimension of their own — they truly command the space.

Every print is made to order. I do not hold any stock; there is no warehouse. When you order, the image is printed with great care specifically for you and checked by hand before it ships.

All of my prints are professionally produced giclée fine-art prints. That means, they are produced on specialised modern printing equipment using 12 different inks to achieve the amazing colours, tonal scale and deep blacks these images deserve. The entire process from image capture to the editing process to the final print is colour managed. That is, all editing occurs on colour calibrated monitors and the final print occurs on colour calibrated printing equipment.

Great care is taken to ensure that the print you receive is what I — the artist — intended and is what you — the art enthusiast — expects.

After all the care that has gone into the image capture, curation, editing and printing, you want to be sure the end result is not diminished by the paper it lives on.

Every suite is printed on Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag 310gsm — a museum-grade, 100% cotton fibre-based fine-art paper that revives the look and feel of a traditional darkroom baryta print. Its satin surface sits between matt and gloss — a gentle sheen rather than a mirror — and its ultra-white base and very high D-max give deep, luminous blacks and a long, subtle tonal scale that flatters black-and-white and colour alike. It carries no optical brighteners (OBAs), is acid-free, and meets the ISO 9706 standard for archival permanence, made to last for generations without yellowing or fading.

A suite is a single artwork, so it is printed as one: every image is produced at the same height and on this same paper, so the set reads as a unified whole on your wall. For this reason suites are not offered with a choice of paper — Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag is my default, and its refined satin surface lets each image hold its own while binding the group together.

All sizes offered preserve the original aspect ratio of the image as intended by the artist. The image size refers to the printed image — the picture itself, before any margin. The size you pick in the options (e.g. 16 × 24 in) is that image area.

Every image in a suite carries the same presentation margin — about 10 % of the image height — all round, so the set reads as one piece; the suite number and signature sit in the bottom margin. Because every image in a suite is printed at the same height, that one margin applies to them all, portrait and landscape alike. Each image is made to be framed to a matching height — the specification sheet enclosed with your suite gives the exact frame size for every image and the spacing between them. For example, a 16 × 24 inch landscape image in a suite (406 × 610 mm) has a sheet size of 486 × 690 mm — a 40 mm margin all round.

Please allow +/–2mm tolerance for any dimension specified.
